West Bolton's Mens League

The men's league is composed of two man teams (last year there were 25 teams). Each Tuesday one team is in competition with another team and 36 points (2 points per hole per team member) are contested. A team can win 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 points per hole.

It is a handicap league (composed of two divisions -- low handicap teams and high handicap teams) so every team has an equal chance to win. The cost is $22 per person ($44 per team). If you don't have a partner one will be assigned to you if there is another singe person signing up.

For the $44 you get two banquets and the possibility of prize money. Last year the top 4 teams in each division had prize money totaling $500.

The beginning of West Bolton's Amen Corner... Hole #5 is the most difficult hole on the front 9. While not long, the hole demands accuracy off the tee with woods down the entire right side and a lone tree gaurding the left. Your second shot will be blind to a green that is gaurded by a large mound to the left and a hazard behind. Get out of here with a par and you'll be smiling to the next tee.
